Clear Channel Broadcasting Official Contest Rules for “The Clear Channel My Ford Ski House” Sweepstakes

Contest Name: My Ford Ski House
Contest Prize(s): An invitation to stay at the Clear Channel My Ford Ski House located in Northern California near North Lake Tahoe for one winner and 7 guests for 3 nights, April 4 – 7, 2004.
Prize will include: Use of the house including 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, a sauna, a hot tub, a pool, and 17 acres of land, use of an 8 passenger Ford Expedition while at the house (subject to car rental rules for the winner 25 years of age or older with proof of insurance and valid California Driver’s license), 16 lift tickets to Squaw Valley Ski Resort (two per guest in party), and a $200 Grocery gift card, (the “Prize(s)”). Transportation to and from the location is the responsibility of the winners.

Clear Channel Broadcasting, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies ("Company"), will conduct the contest substantially as described in these rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:
Company may conduct the contest concurrently and simultaneously on several participating stations licensed to Company, and in various States, and Company may add or remove participating stations or change call letters of any participating station at any time during the contest as announced on the affected station.
1. Description of Contest/Participation.
Clear Channel Broadcasting Inc Northern California Trading Zone is participating in a contest with other Clear Channel radio stations, both inside and outside of this station's listening area, called “My Ford Ski House”
1A. Dates of Contest: The contest will begin and end on or about the start and finish dates listed above.
1B. How to Enter: Register by logging on to www.myfordskihouse.com, follow the contest links and complete the online registration form. A total of 1 entry will be selected to become qualified for the prize.
1C. How to Play: On or about March 4, 2005 one winner will be randomly selected and contacted.
1D. Other Requirements:

2. Prize(s).
The prizes that may be awarded to the eligible winner are described above and as follow:

Transportation to and from the location is the responsibility of the winner’s. Dates for the trip are final. If the winner is unable to travel and use the house on the dates mentioned the prize is null and void. Prize is not transferable. There will be no cash value awarded to winner’s who decide not to use the prize.
3. Eligibility and Limitations.
Participants and winner(s) must be U.S. citizens or legal U.S. residents at least 21-years old as determined by Company. Company has the right to refuse to award a prize to or on behalf of any person not over the age of 21 years old. Only one (1) prize per household for this contest. Only one (1) prize per household from any Company station within any thirty (30) day period. Employees of Company, this contest's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws," or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.
4. Telephone and Delivery Disclaimer.
Participants are restricted to the use of ordinary telephone equipment. Participants that enable the "Caller ID" block function will not be allowed to participate unless they enter their correct area code and telephone number. Company disclaims all liability for the inability of a participant to complete or continue a telephone call due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, acts beyond Company's control, or otherwise. Company disclaims all liability for any delays, misdelivery, loss, or failure in the delivery of any item sent by mail, courier, express, electronic transmission, or other delivery method.
5. Publicity.
By participating, all participants and winners grant Company exclusive permission to use for publicity and/or promotional purposes, their names, likeness, photographs, videotapes, images via web cam, or other recordings of winners and their guests participating in the Contest, without any additional consideration beyond allowing me to participate in the Contest.
6. Release.
By participating, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against Company, its employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss, theft, unfortunate weather conditions, or any other undesirable events that may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the contest, or from the use of any prize.
7. Taxes.
Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to Company, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes. Each winner must provide Company with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from a Station will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
8. Decisions.
Company reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or has violated any rule, gained unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means. Further Company will resolve any disputes or ambiguities concerning the rules and Company’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final.
9. Miscellaneous.
Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign a Company release form to claim the prize. No purchase necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. Company may substitute prizes of equivalent value, amend the rules or discontinue the contest at any time as announced on the station. Company disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of this contest. Written copies of these rules are available during normal business hours at the business offices of the station and by mail from the station upon written request with a stamped, self-addressed return envelope. Entries must be handwritten, unless another form of entry is specifically authorized for the contest. No photocopying or mechanical reproduction of entry forms is permitted unless specifically authorized for the contest.
10. Compliance with Law.
The conduct of this contest is governed by local and state law, which takes precedence over any rule to the contrary herein. Station shall follow the applicable local and state laws for conducting contests, including notice to the state attorney general or consumer affairs office, posting of a prize bond, furnishing lists of winners, running specific on-air disclaimers, providing specific written information about the contest, etc. as required by local and state law.
